Psst, hey you, Westfield.  Yeah you, Westfield, IN.  It’s beyond time for you and the surrounding communities (Hello Noblesville, Fishers, et al) to discover a most wonderful experience that awaits you at Turn The Page Books.  Man, if I lived closer I’d be there every other day.  I mean, Turn The Page has been here for almost 6 years and some of you haven’t visited yet.  Take it from me that owner Jamie D. and her mother Linda boost the personality of this bookstore 10-fold and will enhance your visit greatly.  Don’t talk to me about cheaper books online. If you value the presence of a bookstore in your community you’ll step up to buy local, shop local, AND enjoy an experience that can’t be duplicated online.  Besides, the large online behemoth doesn’t pay taxes in your community but small businesses like Turn The Page do.

This beautiful large house is home to all new books and many unique sidelines.  The interior is attractively arranged and organized including a devoted children’s area featuring creative and original art work.  Sidelines include greeting cards, puzzles, candles, stickers, and locally created earrings to name just a few.  I especially like the front porch seating area, a perfect place to sample a book.  And if you can’t visit Turn The Page in person consider placing an order online via bookshop.org.

Planning a summer vacation?  If you’re anywhere close to Westfield pay this place a visit.  Can’t plan a summer vacation because you’re following all of your kids’ sports tournaments?  If you find yourself in Westfield at Grand Park watching a marathon of games, good gawd give yourself a break.  Get out of the heat and enjoy a bookstore visit.  Once you’ve visited I can almost guarantee you’ll return.

Best of all, as with almost all of my visits, the people here are 5-star.  Jamie and Linda really make this place sparkle and are happy to chat about books.  Honestly, I could’ve stayed and talked books all day with these two terrific ladies.  And THIS is exactly what you’ll discover when you visit this Westfield gem.  Go to an indie and buy a book.  Bonsoir.

JUST FINISHED:  All The Sinners Bleed, S. A. Cosby.  Small-town Virginia has a school shooting and the murderer kills a beloved local teacher.  The Black sheriff and his deputies kill the murderer, who is also Black.  You'll soon find out about the undercurrent of racism and the pressure on the sheriff to uphold the law or side with the Black community.  Relevant book for today's world.

CURRENTLY READING:  Everything Is An Emergency, Jason Adam Katzenstein.

RECENTLY PURCHASED:  The Break Down, B. A. Paris.

You know what's nice about this bookstore?  You'll feel right at home!

Attractive display just inside the front entrance.

An alluring impulse buy right at the check-out counter.

Candles, stickers, bookmarks, mugs, and more just inside the front door.

Just a portion of the works of fiction available.

A great seat with natural lighting for the hard of seeing.

Relevant book display for the summer season.

With Linda on the left and Jamie in the center, the fine mother-daughter team you'll meet at Turn The Page Books & Gifts.  Thanks for a great visit.
